About[]
Rumors of a collaborative album sparked on October 20, when producer DDot Omen took to Twitter teasing about the project. 21 Savage denied the rumors, responding with “🧢” to an Instagram post talking about the album.
The next day, Drake revealed the album’s title in the official music video to “Jimmy Cooks,” released on 21 Savage’s 30th birthday, along with an instrumental snippet.
The promotional cycle for the album featured Drake and 21 Savage parodying NPR’s Tiny Desk series, staging a fake Howard Stern interview, and selling fake issues of Vogue with the pair photoshopped over the October issue of the magazine. The album’s cover and tracklist was revealed on November 2, 2022, via Drake’s Instagram.[1]
